The sketch for the plant that had been there was too big. I erased and did something better. Tomorrow, it’s back to the paint. Is anyone reading any of this? Too much of my experience with art lately feels like screaming into a void. I’m not really interested in going through the motions of updating…

This will take a bit.

After all the decades of making paintings, I still learn new stuff from doing it. I know some things about mixing color now that I didn’t know on Sunday. If you aren’t learning while doing it, you’re probably not doing it right.

I had a mostly crappy day, until I went into the studio. Painting sure can help.
